SELF TAPPING SCREWS
We specialize in self tapping screws of all types, shapes and sizes conforming to the relevant standards and specifications.
These screws are hardened and tempered to enable self tapping and are generally available in Bright Zinc Plated finish. Other finishes like Cadmium, Nickel, Chromium and Auto Black are arranged against order.
Screws with pointed ends (Type C) are more commonly used than the ones with a blunt end (Type F).
Self Tapping Screws are available in the following head types and generally conform to the following specifications;
- Slotted Pan Head to IS 7173/89, DIN 7971 AND ISO 1481/1983
- Slotted CSK Head to IS 7170/89, DIN 7972 AND ISO 1482
- Slotted Raised CSK Head to IS 7169/89 AND ISO 1483/1983
- Slotted Round Head
- Pan Phillips (Cross Recessed) Head to DIN 7981 AND ISO 7049
- CSK Phillips (Cross Recessed) Head to DIN 7982 AND ISO 7050
- Truss Phillips (Cross Recessed) Head
We stock slotted self tapping screws with Pan head, CSK head, Round head and Raised CSK head in types C & F and in type C for Cross recessed screws with Pan Phillips and CSK Phillips heads.
Brands Stocked : SECO-55, SHARP EDGE, EXPO and FIXWELL.
Size Range: No. 2 (2.2mm) x 4.5mm to No. 14 (6.3mm) x 75mm in slotted screws and upto No. 12 (5.5mm) x 60mm for Phillips head screws.
U Type Hammer Drive Rivets used mostly for number plates are also available.
Size Range: No 0 x 4.5mm to No. 6 x 13mm
